How
strong is he?:
Gilgamesh
is the strongest because he is a great half god and half human as his mother
was goddess of Ninsun and his father was king of Uruk Lugalbanda , his power
was his treasure as collected all legendary blades which each had different noble
phantasm and he posses all items from the world when he was alive and it was
all stored in a place known as ‘Gates of Babylon’ which connects him to his
treasures ‘Golden Capital’.
But
his personal noble phantasm is known as ‘Ea’ also known as sword of rupture, is
the most powerful of all mystical weapon and it contained within the Gate of Babylon.
It looks like a sword spun in a spiral shape are dull. Ea is the strongest
noble phantasm which tears a hole in the fabric of reality and deluge
everything in range ,overpowering even Saber’s Excalibur.
Why
did he betray Tokiomi Tohsaka?:
Gilgamesh
betrays Tokiomi Tohsaka because he knows at the start that Tokiomi will betray
him when he obtains the holy grail by using his command spell to make him kill
himself. And also he find him boring as he was doing nothing , so he find
himself interesting human Kirei Kotomine.
What
was his heroic spirit?:
He
was known as a hero as well as king of Uruk because He ruled the Sumerian
city-state of Uruk, the capital city of ancient Mesopotamia in the B.C. era. He
was an ultimate, transcendent being so divine as to be two-thirds god and
one-third human, and no others in the world could match him. He was a despot
possessing high divinity who believed he was invincible. He is known to be a
hero because he defeats the monster Humbaba. He was hero because he wasn’t
afraid to put his own life in jeopardy for the sake of other’s
Is
Gilgamesh good or evil?:
Gilgamesh
was a powerful king ,but he was not a great king. He used to oppress his people
, kill people for unnecessary issues so we can call him as neutral. In Fate/Grand Order his
profile states that his nature is cruel and heartless. Never hearing people's
opinions, a tyrant who holds only his own standards as absolute. Pretentiously
displaying an extremely gaudy golden armor, this exceptional Heroic Spirit
releases his excessive treasures as if abundant water.
What
did Gilgamesh say to Sakura ?:
Yes,
he came to tell Sakura to “Go die right now”. It is rather a suggestion than
command. He knows that beside Illya, Sakura was also grail but she was known as
dark grail. So as a king he wanted a pure holy grail so he tells Sakura to die
right now. In his final appearance,
Gilgamesh lacerates Sakura with swords from the Gate of Babylon. However, he
underestimated Sakura's regenerative abilities and is devoured by her shadows.
Sakura is forced to quickly convert him to mana in haste because Gilgamesh's
ego allows him to be immune to the mental pollution and she was afraid he might
tear her up from the inside if she did not digest him.
Does
Gilgamesh really love Saber?:
Gilgamesh never truly loves Saber and is quite
disrespectful toward her. The irony is that should Saber ever lose
sight of her ideal, he will drop her instantly. In all of that, it's just that
this admiration he has for her and this part alone seems genuine.
Final
thoughts:
In
my point of view Gilgamesh was indeed a good leader he has a great
determination and whatever he did was to protect his people from grave danger. In
heaven feel he even wanted to obtain pure grail by eliminating dark grail (Sakura).
So
he is selfish and arrogant man who has his pride in his great treasures.
Gilgamesh has a
natural disposition to collect items for his treasury, which lead to collecting
all the treasures of the world. The treasures he amassed went without use until
his fight with Enkidu, causing him to develop the "bad habit" of
utilizing them as projectiles. The act of collecting is something that has
never brought him true joy due to essentially being on the same level as
breathing to him, but he still persists at it nonetheless. He compares gambling
as simply moving money from his treasury to his purse. He lives by 'his' Golden
Rule, only accepting the finest of luxuries, and others who fall to it are
utterly blinded by money.
